Recently, we fielded a voicemail question by one of our listeners, John Deven, on how to reboot a freelance business when moving out of the country.  Looks like John didn't need any help from us, he's already landed his first editorial assignment in Costa Rica!  John shot a food assignment for Ballena Tales Magazine by looking at the masthead and seeking out the editor's name on LinkedIn.  It just goes to show you, simple, yet proactive marketing practices DO work!  Congrats John.  It is not an easy task moving your freelancing business out of state, let alone out of country.  Kudos to you and many more to come!
